There hasn’t been an iriver DAP or PMP making the scene in quite a while now but according to reports floating around, the company has a couple of new products, yet to be made official, set to hit the market - the T5 DAP and the T6. The 26g T5 DAP has no video capabilities of course, but features a built in USB port and is capable of reading MP3, WMA, and OGG. According to the leaked images, the player would be available in white and black. The second player, the T6, from what we know so far, would be available in a 4GB capacity. From the image it’s possible that the player would probably support some video formats considering its slightly large display. It could also support FM recording from an integrated FM radio. I’d just like to reiterate that these have not yet been made official nor is there any information provided about their official pricing but the same reports do mention that the T5 could cost about Rs. 3,159 (50 Euros) and the T6, about Rs. 3,791 (60 Euros). The availability is not yet known, so stay tuned. |
