XNINE MMP X-500 Takes on The Samsung K5

Shortly after Samsung's YP-K5 music made it to the stores, here's a follower also from Korea. The XNINE MMP X-500 has a glossy, LG Chocolate-like exterior with black body and red buttons, but trumps the YP-K5 by also adding a loudspeaker at the back.

On a better note, the X-500 has a large, 2-inch, 262k color TFT LCD (incidentally manufactured by Samsung), plays back DivX/XviD AVI, MPEG, WMV video formats and MP3, WMA audio formats. The device comes with 1 GB built-in flash memory and also a microSD/TransFlash expansion slot and if that's not enough to store your music, there's also an FM radio tuner. There are also a few games pre-loaded in the device.
