Antec today announced that it will be bundling Advanced Editions of 3DMark 11 – via registration keys - with its range of Power Supplies, with it being its 25th anniversary year . For those not in the know, Futuremark’s 3DMark 11 is a synthetic benchmark suite which benchmarks (duh) DirectX 11 capable Graphics Cards.
Get the Advanced Edition!
“We are proud to partner with Futuremark and offer our customer the latest 3DMark 11 Advanced Edition with our power supplies,” said Irina Tsikun, International Sales Manager at Antec. “With the 3DMark 11 Advanced Edition benchmark, our customers can take the advantage of native DirectX 11 engine and benchmark the performance of their graphic cards with full loading of power supply, and the overall system performance.” While the basic edition of 3DMark 11 is free to download, most of its features come locked in the version. The Advanced Edition unlocks some of the features, but is priced at $19.95 (Rs. 900). While I can’t say I can compute the meaning of bundling a graphics card benchmarking suite with a power supply, it’s free stuff so hey, I’m not complaining! |
