Corsair's low-noise VS450 PSU introduced in India

Corsair, better known for their components in the PC gaming segment has unveiled a new PSU for the Indian and Chinese markets. Although introduced as an entry-level model, the Corsair VS450, 450W power supply claims to offer high-end features, priced at Rs. 2,599. With this PSU, the company aims at entry level buyers and the Corsair VS450 has been crafted to offer 80 percent efficiency, which eventually leads to lesser generation of heat and lower energy bills.

Maintains low noise

One of the key highlights appears to be the low noise ability, along with a set of features that would be found at the premium level. The Corsair VS450 gaming PSU comes with a single +12V rail and is compatible with all latest components. It equips an ultra-quiet fan, 120mm maintaining airflow at low noise level by varying fan speed depending upon the temperature.

Late last year, we saw the Corsair TX750M, which was priced slightly higher than an entry-evel device, but came with some decent features. The VS450 claims to provide worry-free compatibility of home desktop PC system build or upgrade and is said to bring in features that are usually found in premium power supplies. It also adheres to the universal ATX standards in terms of performance. The Corsair VS450 power supplies can be procured through Corsair-authorized storefronts in the APAC region.
