3M launches MP410 palm-sized wireless projector in India

3M has expanded its LED projector portfolio in India with the latest addition to the MP 410 Mobile Projector. This palm-sized projector has an impressive 20,000 hour LED life, a brightness level of 300-lumen and HD-image output of up-to -100 inches diagonally. The projector is available for a price of Rs.50,000 at select stores and AV resellers across India. Just like the other projectors in the 3M projector portfolio, this too comes with local India warranty and is backed by a strong PAN India after sales service network of more than 75 customer touch points.

Measuring four inches in width and length and less than two inches in height, MP410 can cater to both enterprise mobility and personal entertainment. With an easy to use control menu and extensive user settings, the MP410 offers great projection performance with HD view suitable for big-screen presentations and media experience. The MP410 Mobile Projector comes equipped with a VGA cable for quick and easy connection to laptops and netbooks, as well as a USB cable for file transfer to utilize the 1GB onboard memory. Additionally, consumers can buy an optional USB Wi-Fi dongle using which the MP410 can wirelessly project documents. This apart, a wide range of movie and picture formats can be played back from other microSD devices and handheld devices, like an iPad or an iPhone. Additionally, an HDMI cable allows MP410 to connect to DVD players and HD set top boxes to project high definition images. A handy carry case makes it easy to carry the MP410 with its accessories.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. P T Mukund, Executive Director, Display & Graphics Group, 3M India said, “Increasingly, consumers are looking out for technology that can enable them to be mobile and efficient at the same time. MP410 is a product engineered keeping the needs of such consumers in mind, who like to be empowered with user friendly and easy to carry gadgets.”
Since the invention of the world’s first LED optical engine in 2008, 3M has been busy introducing new features and upgrading its pocket projector portfolio. 3M is also the first company in the world to have invented an LED pocket projector in 2009, the first pocket projector with built-in apps in 2010, leading up to the world’s first pocket projector with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in 2011. |
