Axaa Launches the L1 V2, the World's Smallest 20 Lumen Pico Projector

Although it is slightly larger, the AAXA L1 v2 Laser Pico Projector is an improvement on its older sibling, as it has increased thermal efficiency with its PCOS laser light engine. This in turn, allows the projector to produce images that are always in focus, yet having great colour saturation. And what’s more, it also claims to have no pixelation problems at all. This is done by combining an LCoS imager to produce 800 x 600 resolution and 20 lumen output, proprietary de-speckling technology and a laser light source which is apparently very good.

With this projector, you can project images up to 50 inches away in dark environments. It also has some other really cool features including an inbuilt media player, a USB socket, a VGA port which supporting 800 x 600 resolutions, and an internal battery which supposedly lasts for 1.5 hours (no messy wires needed!). One more advantage with this projector is that you can use it for angled projection as well as projection on uneven surfaces.

The L1 V2 can connect to a large number of devices as well, including the iPhone/iPod Touch, Sony PSP, Microsoft Zune, and plenty of cell phone brands such as Samsung, HTC and Nokia. This device is priced pretty steep at $449, but can currently be pre-ordered at a more affordable $399.
