The SP890 is targeted at terribly important business people who have plenty of money to spend on a projector, which they will probably use for PowerPoint and Excel presentations. While that last sentence may be a little presumptuous, this is a full HD projector that is meant for large venues such as auditoriums and concert halls. It provides 1080p video playback, a contrast ratio of 50000:1, a lumen brightness of 4000 ANSI, 10-bit processing for image intensity and rich gradation of colour displaying more than 1 billion colours. It also offers Lens shift for extra flexibility to overcome minor miscalculations during installation, as well as LAN control and 2D keystone adjustment. The BenQ SP890 'big screen' projector The SP890 is said to offer five times better quality image reproduction when compared to ordinary 480p projectors. It incorporates Hollywood Quality Video (HQV), which enhances standard definition content to new levels of clarity and vibrancy, giving images full HD-like quality. The SP890 has a number of input options such as HDMI, S-Video, USB, L/R audio and RS232. It is also apparently easy and cost effective to set up, as BenQ claims you can use your original ceiling mount for installation. This projector is available all over India at the price of Rs. 1,96,000. |
