Awhile back, in July of 2007, Microvision had given us an idea that they were developing a projector small enough and specifically for a mobile phone. Of course it was still being tested in a prototype at the time. However at CES 2008, in Las Vegas, they unveiled an advanced version prototype that’s apparently still small enough but not specifically for a mobile phone anymore. The advanced model is designed to be a plug and play device. The device, codenamed SHOW is a handheld, battery packed teeny tiny projector that can offer users up to 2.5 hours of usage, which means you can watch a full length movie on a single charge. The best part is, it’s designed to be hooked up directly to any device that can store images or videos etc. like mobile phones, digicams, laptops as well as PMPs. SHOW is capable of providing users with DVD-like image quality with up to WVGA or 848 x 480 pixel resolution.
