Portronics launches new POR 315 Pico Projector

Portronics has announced the launch of its new POR 315 Pico projector, which, according to the company is one of the country’s brightest battery-powered Pico projectors. The Palm-sized POR 315 Pico projector enables one to view content with an additional HDMI input, with a resolution supporting 1024X600.

The light weighted POR 315 is both a true pocket projector and a mobile computing platform. It has an SD card slot, which allows for memory expansion and it comes with an in-built 3000 mAh lithium ion battery, providing back up of two hours on a single charge. The portable projector allows direct projection from the USB drive.

 

Additional features, include composite video input, VGA input, and a 1 watt onboard speaker. The POR 315 Pico projector comes with a 45 lumen optical engine powered by LCOS. It’s got 20,000 hour LEDs and can deliver images up to 80 inches. The assortment of I/O ports include USB, VGA, HDMI and video, so most of your analog or digital devices can be connected.

Portronics POR 315 Pico projector supports the following business formats:

  • Video – MPEG 1, MPEG 2, MPEG 4, H.264, RM, RMVB, MOV, MJPEG, VC1, DivX, FLV
  • Music – WMA, MP3, M4A, AAC 

 

Priced at Rs. 23,000, the Portronics POR 315 Pico projector is available ex-stock across the country. It seems to have quite a few features packed under its miniscule body. However with projectors, a lot of factors like heating, image reproduction and other real life performances actually decide if the device is worth it. The same rule goes with this product.
