Viewsonic Releases Portable DLP Projector

ViewSonic Corporation has launched a new portable DLP Projector, PJD6210, containing a new version of BrilliantColor Technology. It has a 5-segment color (RGBWY) wheel and promises to provide greater color accuracy than any standard DLP projector with a 4-segment color wheel. Specifications include 2,200ANSI lumens and a 2700:1 contrast ratio, XGA of 1024 x 768 resolution and multiple inputs, including support for 720p and 1080i HDTV signals.

A My Screen Function allows users to customize their screen start up with a company logo or favorite picture.

Gautam Ghosh, Country Manager, ViewSonic Technologies India Pvt Ltd said, "Validating our commitment to quality we are launching PJD6210, a feature-packed model, equipped with DLP's Brilliant Color technology, for the Indian market. This new ultra-bright, portable DLP projector is specially designed to cater to the needs of the business professionals and home users".

The PJD6210 costs Rs 55,000.
