While 3D projectors have been around in the market for sometime now, they were just 3D ‘capable’ projectors, which meant you needed a PC or a Blu-ray player for the actual 3D processing. Vivitek however, have announced their new D5 series, which is capable of 2D to 3D conversion by itself. Three models are available on launch, the D512-3D which retails for Rs. 37,950, the D536-3D is for Rs. 53,130 and the D538W-3D that will retail for Rs. 57,684. The only difference between the models is the native resolution which ranges from 800x600 to 1280x800. Good pricing for what it claims to do
