Swiss-based Logitech has unveiled the Driving ForceEX wheel for the PS2 and PS3. This new wheel comes with two interface plugs: the standard PlayStation controller plug, ensuring the wheel will work with any PlayStation game; and a USB plug that allows the Logitech Driving ForceEX wheel to deliver realistic force feedback. Force feedback technology provides realistic directional resistance as drivers encounter bumps, ridges or potholes on their way. Force feedback over the USB connection lets users feel curbs, weight transfer, and even opponents' fenders. The Driving ForceEX wheel delivers a precision driving experience and standard vibration feedback even for games that don't support USB. "Games that provide a realistic experience have always been in demand among the gamers. Logitech Driving Force ForceEX Wheel has the advanced force feedback technology that lets you feel every turn, every bump just as if you were driving on the actual racing track," said Mr Subrotah Biswas, Country Manager, India and SAARC, Logitech. The Driving ForceEX wheel is made by a gas-assist injection molding process that allows the wheel to be created in a single piece - without any seams. It features two rubber grips that encircle the steering wheel rim and provide a comfortable grip. The package also features functional acceleration and brake pedals on a weighted base and two wheel-mounted paddle shifters. The wheel also includes the standard controller buttons and D-pad, allowing players to have easy access to in-game setup and menus. The Logitech Driving ForceEX Wheel for PS2 and PS3 is priced at Rs.7,490 and comes with a two-year warranty. |
