iBall launches ClickScan portable scanning solution for businesses

iBall’s newest business tool, dubbed ClickScan has hit store shelves in India. The portable device claims to be quick and easy to use at home, in office or while travelling. Capable of digitizing and organizing work load, it scans documents and high quality photos to store and share. The device is available in two models – A3 and A4 (obviously depending upon the paper size).

The ClickScan is foldable and can scan up to A4/A3 size at high resolution in about one second. Besides, it can capture any document or even images of 3D objects and connect to any printer. It also has a video recording function to record the progress of any operation or demo. The OCR function (Optical Character Recognition) allows converting image of text into characters that can also be edited. Both models support varying file formats - JPG, PDF, BMP, GIF, PNG, TIF, TGA, PCX, JP2, JPC, RAS and has OS support for Windows XP, Vista and 7.

It negates the use of adapter as the device is USB powered. The A4 supports max resolution of 2.0 mp, while the A3 size model has max resolution of 5.0 mp. The A3 model allows scanning A3, A4 and A5 size documents with more precision and features 8 LED lights for efficient scanning.

The A3 and A4 iBall ClickScan models are priced at Rs. 9,990 and Rs. 7,450, respectively.
