Google Glass, the search giant’s curious, computerized Glass Project has been under wraps for a long time, but that bit about it may just change. Google has become more open about this technology, Google co-founder, Sergey Brin not only allowed photographers to try it during the Google+ Photographers conference, but also displayed a video taken using a Google Glass headset at the conference. Reportedly , Current TV released clips of the one–hour interview with Brin who flaunted the Glass at the show, while also talking about his current work at the company and future of Google. Brin made his appearance on The Gavin Newsom talk show and also allowed the host to try the Glass. ![]() Sergey Brin showing off Google Glass
Apart from being a camera friendly device, specs and other details of the Google Glass are still a mystery. It’s basically glasses with some sort of track pad on the right side, and at the show, Brin asked Newsom not to touch on the side to avoid deleting the image that Brin clicked using the Glass. Furthermore, the Glass doesn’t necessarily require the track pad to take images, as it also comes with a handsfree version. However, no details of using it handsfree have been disclosed. |
