TSMC begins volume production of its 28nm process

Great news for all gamers and enthusiast who are eagerly waiting for Nvidia’s and AMD’s next-gen graphics cards as TSMC’s latest announcements put’s everything back on track. The chip foundry has begun volume production of 28nm silicon wafers and has already begun shipment to customers. The firm also claims that it has more than 80 customer product tape-outs at 28nm which is double compared to their 40nm fabrication process. Next-gen chips cannot get here sooner
