Chinese Search Giant Launches Blog Search

Popular Chinese search engine, Baidu.com, has launched a new service to allow its users to search blog entries on the internet. The new blog search engine is aimed at aimed at helping Chinese internet users to search and access more than 20 million Chinese blogs. Representatives of Baidu say that their database is built on index of billions of websites and includes blogs supported by Chinese blog service providers and individual blog websites. The number of Chinese language bloggers on the net, has crossed the 19.87 million mark this November. According to Baidu, professional blogs, on topics such as medicine and education have shown remarkable growth since last year. Read more here. |
