In a step to gain a foothold in the Indian advertising space, Google announced that it would extend support to small to medium businesses in Rajasthan. Part of the process would involve Google setting up Adword accounts for these business for free and to design a customized online ad campaign for them. The SMBs will be given Rs. 2,500 in free advertising coupons once they call a toll-free number. This move is mutually beneficial to both sides. It will help Google significantly gain foothold in the Indian online advertising and marketing space while SMBs benefit by having access to an immensely growing method of advertising for little cost. |
