Hotmail Users Find E-mails Missing In the New Year

The New Year started off with quite a bang for Hotmail users as a new bug deleted e-mails from their inboxes. The Microsoft Website has been flooded with messages from irate users who are complaining of missing e-mails. Microsoft...we have a problem! A user who goes by the name 'freedomnow' has said that all his folders including the inbox and sent folders were emptied and a lot of important information was lost. It seems a large chunk of Hotmail users are having the issue as there are over 3 full pages of complaints. The cause of the problem is not yet known and is currently under investigation by Windows Live support technicians who are said to be working on a fix and have asked affected users to remain calm. We hope the issue is fixed ASAP, as the pain of losing important e-mails is well known to us. |
