The new firmware update version 1.1.0 is available on Canon’s website. The firmware fixes the “residual image” or the ghosting phenomenon that was detected on shots taken by the EOS 7D (under certain conditions). The firmware corrects a phenomenon that in images captured by continuous shooting, and under certain conditions, barely noticeable traces of the immediately preceding frame may be visible. |
