It's not official, but leaked iPhone campaign ads from T-Mobile Germany portray a different story. The iPhone is not likely to be announced in Europe until November, but the grapevine has it that it's to be equipped with 3G, supporting both US-friendly HSDPA format and the Europe-specific UMTS. The leaked ad also claims a 16GB iPhone, with a 2MP camera in keeping with the version launched in the US. According to the ad, the 3G iPhone will be priced at 499 Euros and will come with a coupon for the iTunes store. T-Mobile has obviously not confirmed any of this, but it's been seen posting text banners and product shots on its own website, as posted by ZDnet. |
