Meego is going to be the next platform that will feature in your car’s computer system. According to the Nokia Blog, the Linux foundation just made this announcement. The GENIVI Alliance that consists of big players like BMW, GM, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Peugeot, and others are all on board. Reference design builds upon the Meego handset platform are expected by October this year. We could see some really cool in-car as well as phone enabled apps with the new Intel and Nokia platform.
