HTC Tattoo Now Available in India

HTC has just launched the Android-based HTC Tattoo in India. The Tattoo is designed to offer users a better level of personalization for the handset by customizing its shell. Also on board is HTC’s Sense UI that adds a little more personalization to the handset from the OS point of view.

"The HTC Tattoo introduces a more natural way for reaching out to the people and accessing important information in a much more easier and hassle-free manner. HTC Tattoo empowers its owner to personalize it in a simple yet powerful manner and enjoy a most distinct mobile experience” said Ajay Sharma, Country Head, HTC India.


The handset features -
  • a 2.8-inch TFT-LCD touch-sensitive screen with 240x320 pixel resolution
  • EDGE/GPRS
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP
  • GPS with a Digital Compass
  • a 3.2 megapixel camera,
  • 3.5mm stereo headset jack
  • expandable memory via microSD cards
  • FM radio
  • Google services on board
The HTC Tattoo will be available at a market operating price of Rs. 18,400 in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh and Rs. 16,990 in the Rest of India at all leading authorized HTC resellers across the country. As part of its initiative to encourage Internet access through mobile devices, Vodafone Essar has announced an exclusive offer with this launch. Vodafone customers who purchase an HTC Tattoo phone can browse the internet and download 20MB of data per month free for a period of 3 months. Vodafone’s exclusive offer is available to its customers across the country on purchase of the HTC Tattoo phone till 31 January, 2010.

You can also choose as many skins as you want to order at a price of Rs. 1,165 ($24.90) each and have them shipped to your address.
