LIVE - At The Nokia N8 Preview in Delhi

Tech 2's mobile expert is hanging out at the Nokia N8 Preview event in Delhi. Here's what's up.

Just to reirterate - its got a graphics accelerator in addition to the processor. Look out iPhone.

The device supports DivX, another Nokia 1st, not including the N900 MID. With Dolby thrown in, media playback should be awesome.

Nokia has also thrown in a video and image editor with the handset.

A mini-to-standard HDMI converter is included with the box.

A Web TV app is also preinstalled. Channels will include NatGeo, CNN and Paramount and more to come.

Opinion space: This handset is going to very seriously revive Nokia's ratings in the country.

 

On the very unofficial, still to be confirmed front we can expect the N8 to be announced officially in about 2 weeks or less.

 

The price, estimated to be between Rs. 24,000 to Rs. 29,000. Also yet to be confirmed.
