Motorola Cracks Down on Leaked Android for Droid X

Android 2.2 has been leaked via websites for Droid X users but Motorola's taking active stands to control this unofficial update. In its latest move, it has sent cease and desist letters to websites spreading the leaked operating system. The letters state that the update contains copyrighted Motorola material. The Droid X was released with Android 2.1 with an over the air update to Android 2.2 in the works but some users decided to get ahead in the game and found leaked versions online. SOURCE: Wired |
