It was only recently that we got wind of the new BlackBerry Storm 2 and saw the leaked images of the handset. A little later we heard rumors that the handset would probably be sans SurePress technology, but new reports are stating that that’s not true and SurePress on the BlackBerry is not going anywhere. However it’s not been confirmed whether or not the Storm 2 will incorporate the tech. RIM’s founder and co-CEO, Mike Lazaridis had simply mentioned that SurePress technology is still very much present but it could be used in a number of devices with no specifics on which. There’s still a lot of speculation going around about the screen technology the company will actually employ, so we’ll just have to wait for an official statement from RIM to know the facts. When we know you’ll know. Stay Tuned. |
