Palm Announces New OS - Nova

Reports are in that Palm has confirmed that their new OS called Nova will be incorporated into new handsets due to be out anytime in the near future. Nova is to be incorporated into new devices in addition to their range of Windows Mobile and Palm OS handsets. The news was announced by Palm’s chief executive Ed Colligan. Also stated in the same report was that Palm intends to formerly announce the new OS and reveal the first device running on the same some time in the first couple of weeks of 2009. Nothing confirmed yet. Palm has also shown that Nova has support for third party apps by involving a few developers to design and come up with apps for the new handset and OS. Image source |
