One of the biggest issues most users had with the otherwise quite popular BlackBerry 9500 Storm was the lack of Wi-Fi. According to a few sources and reports making the rounds, a special version designed specifically for Verizon users ONLY is on its way carrying a Wi-Fi antenna. BlackBerry’s first touchscreen attempt made some serious waves the world over but left you wanting more and more. It seems this is what you’re going to get, if you’re a United States citizen using the Verizon mobile operator service. Some of the rumors are also mentioning that this is just possibly the first ting that’s been revealed about the 9500 Storm 2 Verizon edition. More could be in store but it's all hush hush for now. Are we looking at a better touchscreen? Maybe. Will it also be made available to RIM loyals in other places, like say for instance, India? No idea yet. We’ll have to wait till September of this year when it makes its debut, so stay tuned. |
