Samsung’s S8000 Jet has just had a major overhaul in its UI through a new firmware update. According to the reports, the updated firmware will bring quite a lot of changes to the existing TouchWiz UI from new widgets that include one for Twitter like the Corby has presumably, an upgraded browser and the ability to move around menu options in the main menu pages. There are also a few changes to the media section. The music player can now be viewed in landscape with a Cover Flow like feel of viewing album art. It also seems like the main menu system can also be viewed in landscape now with all options being showcased like LG’s Sense-UI. The reports also mentioned that with the new upgrade the otherwise speedy handset is now a little bit faster as well. |
