The company that invented the T9 predictive typing system that almost all mobile handsets are preloaded with especially the touchscreen devices, has announced yet another intuitive way for devices with smaller touchscreens to enter data via the virtual keypad. The system is called Swype and will make its first appearance on Samsung's Omnia II Windows Mobile handset on USA’s Verizon. The system is designed to allow users to quickly move from one letter to another without lifting your finger off the screen, hence ‘Swype’. Samsung is however calling this technology Genius Texting.
