Amidio Inc. a company that develops audio applications for the iPhone, has created what could be the very first DJ application that allows users to mix music on a real-time basis right on their mobile handset. The application, aptly named, Touch DJ allows for real-time independent precise manipulation of 2 pitched MP3 files at the same time. Features include scratching, looping, positioning, equalization, effects and pitching. They’re calling the technology “visual mixing”. The layout of the application looks really good and seems well laid out for its purpose. The tracks playback in a wave frequency form and thanks to the color coding it could be much easier to match beats. |
