Wolfinstein RPG Finds Its Way to The iPhone

At this point if time it’s pretty much a ‘given’ that the Apple iPhone and its counterpart the iPod touch are one of the better portable gaming devices available. Sure the Nintendo DS and PSP are big contenders but for a device designed to be a mobile phone and PMP these are sure winners especially when developers get nostalgic and bring us those golden undying oldies like Duke Nukem 3D, Doom and now Wolfenstein RPG.

The gameplay is pretty standard for all of those who remember this classic first person game; you play as Sergeant B.J. Blazkowicz, leader of an elite U.S. fighting unit on a Special Ops assignment. Your call to duty is to save the world from the grip of the evil Axis Army that dwells in Castle Wolfenstein. While trying to accomplish this mission you will be faced with a bizarre array of enemies that include zombies, mutants, elite soldiers and more. You weapons include your boots, fists and toilets to kick, punch and pummel your enemies. Of course other weapons are available as well - flamethrower, rocket launcher, and a Tesla amongst others.

You can Tap and swipe to punch, kick, and shoot and use the fluid accelerometer to take down enemies from a distance with weapons like the sniper rifle.

Wolfenstein RPG is available with the US App Store and is priced at about Rs. 245 ($4.99).
