We’ve been following up on the Xperia 2 and so far all we've been seeing are some sketchy images of the device. However a few more images have made an appearance showcasing the handset in a white and silver body. From the images making the rounds a few specs have now been confirmed. The new handset will be running on Windows Mobile 6.5 and will support 3G with HSDPA. Other specs include a Qualcomm MSM7200 chipset with a 528 MHz processor, same as the previous model and 256MB of RAM. As per the previous rumors, the X2 will be equipped with an 8 megapixel AF camera and an LED flash. It also has what seems to be a larger navigation pad that could also be touch-sensitive to be used as an optical mouse. The slide out QWERTY keypad looks a little more squared out. Images Source |
