Xperia X3 To be Called X10, Possible 2010 Release

The Xperia 3 or X3 is scheduled to be Sony Ericsson’s first Android device. However latest reports say that’s not entirely true. Yes SE is planning on releasing an Android handset, that part’s accurate, the handset is not going to be called the X3 though, instead, the latest news is that the handset will be dubbed the Xperia X10.

Here’s a quick recap of the X10’s features -
  • 4-inch touchscreen with an 800 x 480 pixel resolution
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset
  • 3G, EDGE/GPRS, Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth with A2DP, USB
  • A-GPS
  • Micro SDHC card support
  • 3.5mm handsfree socket
  • 8 megapixel camera with Smile Shutter, Face Detection, image stabilization and an LED Flash
According to the same report, the handset is due to be out sometime in 2010.
