i-mate's recent SPL and JAQ didn't impress us too much, but these new models from the Windows Mobile phone brand look so hot, we can't wait to get our hands on them. The Ultimate range has five models, the 5150, 6150, 7150, 9150 and the 8150. Somehow I think having obscure names like JAM, JAMmer, JAMmest would have been easier to get used to, but to each his own. The killer bit about the Ultimate range is the specifications list: ALL of them have full VGA screens – that’s 640x480 for you, no more of those crummy low res QVGA dots that we've been subjected to till date. All the phones also include 256MB of ROM, Bluetooth 2.0 and FM radio. The phones are also all tri-band 3G/UMTS capable. Like I said, we can't wait to get our hands on these.
