It was reported recently that HTC was seeding their latest build of Android – Gingerbread 2.3.5 to the Incredible S and the Desire HD smartphones. Along with the aforementioned HTC handsets, the HTC ChaCha is also getting the update. These Gingerbread updates are being rolled out in a phased manner, across the globe. Along with the operating software, HTC is also updating the Incredible S and the Desire HD to their Sense UI 3.0. According to a report by GSMArena, another handset from HTC’s stable is said to be receiving the update - the HTC Wildfire S. But like the ChaCha, the Wildfire S will not receive Sense UI 3.0. The HTC Wildfire was launched with Android 2.2, so getting an Android 2.3.5 update will be apt. Global update for HTC Wildfire S to Android 2.3.5 begins
