For those BlackBerry fans out there, this might seem interesting. The BlackBerry Bold Touch aka Bold 9900 made a teaser of an appearance on the official RIM website but was removed within a matter of time. A bold step ahead indeed
BlackBerry World event which is going to be held at Orlando, Florida next week will showcase wireless, enterprise, consumer, applications and other goodies from RIM. The BlackBerry Bold Touch is supposed to be one of the devices unveiled at this event.
It was no unknown news that RIM was launching the Bold Touch but we didn’t expect it to be up on the site till before the event. This could be true since they quickly took it off. But that was more than a treat to our eyes as we learnt about some interesting features about the upcoming smartphone. The Bold Touch is running on RIMs new OS – BlackBerry OS 7 and has a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 640 × 480. It is also rumored to have NFC capabilities, 5 megapixel camera that records HD videos and Wi-Fi.
This is indeed ‘A Bold step ahead’ from RIM, we wish it would have just remained up and not taken down. Please do tell us what you think about the new addition to the ‘Bold” family from BlackBerry in the comments below.
