CommunicAsia 2010: Samsung Announces Two New OmniaPro WinMob Handsets

More from the Samsung Booth at CommunicAsia 2010 is two more Omnia Handsets viz. the Omnia Pro 4 and Pro 5. As looks go they’re quite similar to the B7320 and B7330 devices. Both candy bar forms featuring full QWERTY keypads. They both run on Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional operating systems.

The Pro 5 or B6520 is a lower ended device and features -
  • 2.4-inch landscape display with a 320 x 240 pixel resolution
  • 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, USB 2.0
  • 2 megapixel camera
  • FM radio
  • DivX format support for videos
  • MicroSD card support (up to 16GB)

The second handset, the Omnia Pro 4 (B7350) will be loaded with -
  • 2.6-inch touchscreen display with a 320 x 320 pixel resolution
  • 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, USB 2.0
  • 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera
  • FM radio
  • MicroSD card support (up to 16GB)
No prices have been mentioned yet however, according to one report the Omnia Pro 4 will be available in Europe, CIS and Southeast Asia sometime in July and the Pro 5 will be available in Southeast Asia, Middle East & Africa , India and Latin America in August.
