The leaks of the next generation HTC smartphones are coming consistently. Over the past few weeks, there have been rumours of an upcoming HTC handset codenamed Accord, which then came to be known as the HTC X8. This handset has not been launched yet, but an HTC event scheduled for September 19, we may see quite a few smartphones from the Taiwanese handset manufacturer. While the HTC One X8 is expected to run on the latest mobile operating platform from Microsoft, which is Windows Phone 8, it appears that the brand is preparing another handset, which will run on Google’s latest smartphone operating system, Android v4.1 (Jelly Bean). This Android handset will be a successor to the brand’s current flagship smartphone, the HTC One X, and it will be called the HTC One X+. ![]() The successor to the One X is in the works and goes by the name One X+
