Free Voice Guided Navigation Hits Nokia 6700 Classic With Software Update

‘Tis the season for updates. Apple updated their iPhone OS to iOS4, Sony Ericsson just announced a performance update for the Xperia X10 and Nokia has got one for their 6700 Classic.


Software update sw13.10 (PR3) aside from an apparent overall stability improvement also includes -
  • Free voice-guided, turn-by-turn drive navigation and an upgrade to the latest maps data to version 14.
  • Camera software gets one-step autofocus and the automatic rotation of the menu text to portrait or landscape mode.
  • Bluetooth audio connections have been adjusted to be more robust and reliable.
  • To make the most of the improved navigation options, the menus have also been tweaked to allow faster access to the application.
Please check with your operator on the availability of the update. It will be available to download from the product support section of your local Nokia site. It is intended for all global customers – except Orange and Telefonica Spain, who’ll be getting their own release in approximately two weeks.
