Google Chrome Ported to Nokia N900

13 Apr, 2010, 10:38 am IST | by Shayne Rana | Smartphones

Nokia’s N900 running on its Maemo OS has got another addition to its arsenal of features, a Google Chrome browser. Google hasn’t really officially provided this content for the N900 but the browser has been fully ported to the mobile OS by a developer, Jacekowski. So far it seems like the browser, dubbed Chromium, is working just fine save a few bugs here and there. So far it’s been playing nicely with flash content so it’s possibly able to provide a slightly richer mobile browsing experience. If this makes it to a completely stable version, Fennec, Firefox’s own mobile browser might have a big problem getting a foothold.
