Screenshots of HTC’s new Sense 3.5 user interface have leaked on to Xda.cn and the new interface does seem to have incorporated a few extra changes from the previous one, according to GSMArena.
Different home page interface
HTC’s new device, the HTC Bliss, is rumoured to run the latest Sense 3.5 interface and it’s fair to say that the new interface looks much more vibrant than the earlier one. The most obvious change is the home screen that has widgets running across the left side of the screen and a separate menu and call button below. The difference between the two user interfaces is definitely not that drastic, but with the Bliss rumoured to run on an 800MHz CPU with an Adreno 205 GPU and Android 2.3 Gingerbread, HTC seems to have optimized it for lower-end hardware. This will be particularly beneficial for users facing a few lag problems with their device.
A glimpse of HTC's Sense 3.5 UI
On the flip side, does this mean that the new user interface will not be applicable for the other ones running above 1 GHz? As most HTC users know, the problem with HTC Sense 3.0 was backward compatibility due to superior graphics used. We’ll just have to wait for HTC’s announcement for the same.
