i-mate's new K-JAR smartphone has now been approved by the FCC. The quad-band GSM phone does GPRS and EDGE, has a QVGA screen and a tablet PC-like tilt and swivel contortion to reveal a full QWERTY keypad beneath. The non-3G phone, manufactured by TechFaith Wireless, is seen as a budget version of the i-mate JASJAR. Read more about the K-JAR in our older post. |
