Leaked Antutu benchmark confirms Galaxy S4 will have an octa-core Exynos CPU

Case of the Mondays? This new rumour about the Samsung Galaxy S4 should fix your blues. Reports last month suggested that Samsung would be ditching its homegrown processor for a Snapdragon 600 SoC. Now, leaked Antutu benchmark test results, which were revealed by Androidiani, confirm that the Exynos chipset has not been replaced in the Galaxy S4.
So far, we have seen "leaks" of the phone's protection cases, alleged pictures, some rumours about its colour options and its top-of-the-line specs, but there was some confusion about whether Samsung would be equipping the S4 with the eight-core Exynos 5 Octa chipset.
However, if these leaks are true, the Samsung Galaxy S4 will have an Exynos 5410 processor. According to the test scores, the CPU is clocked at 1.8GHz with a 4+4 core setup. With all that power, the phone is set to top the charts. And that’s very much the case. Compared to a Nexus 4, which is powered by a Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, the benchmark results show that the Exynos 5 Octa has a crazy final tally of 24,894, which makes it nearly 40 percent faster than the Nexus.
