Leaked iPhone 5 repair parts assembled

| by Aaron Almeida | Smartphones

Over the past few months, there has been a range of leaked parts that are believed to be components for the upcoming flagship handset from Apple, the iPhone 5. The fact that there have been plenty of parts leaked has prompted an online electronics company, iResQ to assemble the handset and show that all these parts could be featured in the next iPhone as they all fit perfectly. This assembling of the components gives us a glimpse of what the next major hardware release from Apple will look like.

As per a post on iResQ, the online electronics company states, “We were able to fit the docking port and headphone jack assembly that we showed you on Friday into the new iPhone's frame/back casing. The docking port and headphone jack assembly seemed to fit perfectly inside of the frame. One of our technicians was even able to screw the assembly into the pre-aligned screw holes inside of the frame. All of the threading and screw holes lined up perfectly with the screw holes in then docking port/headphone jack assembly.”

A few days ago, the same electronics company had shown off images of the flex cable that is believed to be featured in the iPhone 5; it features the headphone jack in close proximity to the new redesigned dock connector.

The report by by iResQ goes on to state, “The "iPhone 5"' frame/back casing that we have in house is an incomplete part (it is a shell that should be filled in with more parts). This means that there are some missing plastic gaskets and fittings inside of the back casing that should fill in the tiny gaps between the docking port and the headphone jack in relation to the frame. So the gaps you see here should be filled in with the completely assembled back casing when it is released.”

The website ends by stating that the upcoming iPhone will feature a single speaker, which is similar to that found on current iPhone models.

The change in design is a likely indicator which may propel Apple to reach these high sales figures and one of the biggest changes expected on the next flagship handset is that it will come equipped with a display measuring 4 inches diagonally.

The brand will launch a smartphone with a 4-inch display or larger. If Apple does intend to add a 4-inch display to its next iPhone, then this will be the first time it uses a display size that is larger than 3.5 inches. The resolution of the next iPhone is believed to be 1136 x 640, with the width remaining the same.

As for the display of the next iPhone, it is believed that Apple will incorporate a new technology called in-cell, which will help in making the handset a lot slimmer. This will help in negating the brand from using another touchscreen layer as with in-cell technology; the touch sensors are integrated into the LCD itself.
