Just when you thought the Star was generating enough hype for LG, the company teases us some more. The next device to join LG’s Star in the pipeline is the Optimus 2X. It appeared in a very casual form, during LG’s unveiling of some Ennio Morricone content that came bundled with the Optimus Mach. The handset was not very obvious, which made some people try to solve the mystery behind the handset and find videos of the phone on YouTube. That's a Korean Star! The phone codenamed SU660 bears a resemblance to the LG Star with a few differences being the button array at the bottom and the product code (Star was called P990). According to Phandroid, says that the onboard content is branded Cyon (LG’s Korean mobile phone brand) which suggest that the phone might be the Korean variant of the Star. There is no mention of specs or prices on the site, but it does talk about the phone arriving in about two months or so. There is no talk about when exactly will these high-end smartphones will be out, let alone reach India, but we hope for the best! |
