LG Star Shows Up in a New Spy Photo Shoot

LG Star has been in the headlines recently, regarding its specs and features. The good thing is that they’re not just rumors, but news that looks genuine though LG seems quite unwilling to provide any confirmations. The phone runs not on Android 2.3 Gingerbread as expected earlier, but on 2.2 Froyo.  Runs on Froyo 2.2 The phone’s model number has also been revealed - it's called the LG P990 Star. It's possible that the Star moniker will change, but the model number will probably remain the same. The HDMI port revealed The phone has its own customized User Interface running on top of Android Froyo, but there is a possibility of the phone getting a Gingerbread upgrade by the time it goes on sale. As for the Tegra 2 specs, there’s no mention of Clock speed and other stuff, but with the frequency of incoming LG Star-related news, it might just be around the corner. The phone also has an HDMI port, which for a device that small, has to be of the mini variant. The 8 MP camera has an LED flash, but for now there’s no confirmation about FullHD 1080p video recording capability. For more news on this exciting phone, just stay tuned! |
