Mango to Get More WP7 Features

Microsoft is still teasing WP7 users with their highly anticipated upcoming Mango update aka Windows Phone 7.5. More details of this update have made it out via sources like wpdevpodcast.com who have posted a bunch of images showing off new features that will be announced with the update.

The new features that Mango will bring to the Windows Phone 7 table will include -

 

  • Facebook chat that’s incorporated right into the existing Message Hub section.
  • The Office Hub set up will add Office 365 and SkyDrive Support for syncing and sharing docs through the cloud.
  • For the mobile gamers Xbox Live integration is also getting an update with Auto-Syncing capabilities.
  • Users will also be able to send messages to groups.
  • You can opt to use your Now Playing music tracks Album art as the wallpaper, if you like.


Although Microsoft really hasn’t confirmed any of the updates officially; screenshots made it out which means it’s more than just a possibility. Microsoft’s Mango update is going to make a really big splash for the smartphone OS.
