Micromax's A84 Elite smartphone is now available on Snapdeal.com for Rs.9,999. The phone is powered by a 1Ghz processor and runs Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread). Further, it comes with Proximity sensor, G-sensor and Ambient light sensor. It is fuelled by a 1630 mAh battery and has a stand-by time of 150 hours. This handset boasts some pretty nifty features and one of the main attributes of the A84 Superfone Elite is the 1630mAh battery that can handle 5 hours of talk time. Though it does not feature a 2500mAh battery that is found on the A80, this battery should suffice for most users. ![]() Micromax A84 Elite available on Snapdeal
If you need to click shots in low-light environments and are afraid of the images not turning out quite as expected, then this model comes equipped with an LED flash that can assist you. The brand has also added a 0.3 megapixel front camera that can be useful for video calling over Skype.
The Micromax A84 Elite comes with AISHA voice recognition tool that we had reviewed in the A50 as well. AISHA helps users to update social networking sites, figure out phone status, operate the device, find locations, know horoscopes, make language translations, view recipes and inquire date, time and weather conditions. AISHA may not be an award-winning feature, but that’s what voice recognition has on offer at present. The A84 provides the users with access to a plethora of apps such as Mibuddy, Mstore, TOI etc. This handset offers users a chance to avail of all the features of the Google Play store as well.
Here's a look at the other specifications of the Micromax A84 Elite:
In related news, Micromax has been rated the 12th largest handset manufacturer in the world according to the Global Handset Vendor Market Share report from Strategy Analytics, which is definitely encouraging news for the company. With the introduction of this handset, Micromax appears to be cementing its position as a top manufacturer in the smartphone spectrum in India. |

We’ve already established that the Lumia 720 is Nokia’s best effort as far as Windows Phone 8 handsets go. This could soon change once the Lumia 925 hits markets, but as it stands now, the Lumia 720 offers the best blend of features and performance, wrapped in a beautiful package that’s quite affordable.
