Micromax launches the A45 Punk, a music oriented smartphone

Micromax just added another smartphone to their current lot in the form of the all new A45 45 Punk, a smart music phone.
Priced at Rs. 5,499, the Micromax A45 Punk runs on Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread) with a processor speed of 650 MHz .The phone features a 3.5-inch full touch capacitive screen with a resolution of 320 X 480 pixels. The company states that the handset is designed to provide a talk time of 4.5 hours powered via its 1300mAh Li-ion battery.

Working on new and innovative themes to sell their new range of smartphones, this one - the A45 is touted by the company to be an ideal device for those who wish to quickly and easily access, share and listen to a huge selection of media. The device offers a new way to explore, discover and enjoy music and thus revamp your music listening experience through a set of funky looking headphones (with HD surround), provided along with the handset.
The Micromax A45 also comes pre-loaded with AISHA, a voice recognition app, which made its debut with A50 Ninja. The system that tries to emulate Apple’s Siri, accepts verbal queries and tries to provide solutions to users. The application can also work with commands voiced out to make calls, send messages, search for a life partner, know about the nearest pizza outlets, weather conditions and much more.
Users will also get live news feed through apps, such as TOI. The A45 Punk provides users with access to a variety of apps, such as Mibuddy, Facebook, Mstore, Whatsapp and other apps from Google Play store.
The phone will be promoted on air and shop-front through a tie-up with the latest Rihanna album, Talk that Talk released on Universal music. The A45 also comes with a pre-loaded ringtone of the hit single – We found love.
