Micromax Ninja 4 A87 launched for Rs 5,990

Micromax is expanding its smartphone business in India at a breakneck pace. The brand has recently taken the wraps off the Superfone Pixel A90, and now it has introduced the Ninja 4 A87, an Android Gingerbread smartphone that comes at an affordable price of Rs 5,990.

This Ninja 4 A87 is officially available for purchase on the retail website Saholic, and shipping is free. Consumers who choose to purchase this handset will receive it within four days, and they also have the option to pay cash on delivery.

Though it can be argued that the price is reason enough to purchase this handset; the Micromax Ninja 4 A87 comes loaded with a range of features that can compete with more expensive handsets currently available on the market. The Micromax Ninja 4 A87 comes loaded with Android v2.3 (Gingerbread), and is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm processor that should be enough for this handset to run smoothly. The brand has bundled a 1400mAh battery along with the handset. It claims that it features a talk time of around 5 hours or a stand-by time of approximately 175 hours. The handset is available in three colour options, which should suit most users' preferences.

With a 1600mAh battery, the official statement claims that the phone can provide up to 5 hours of talk time and 174 hours of stand-by time. Other key features include an accelerometer and a light sensor. This handset is available in the market for Rs 12,990.
